Wen x Elevate Pictures: Meet the Team, October 16, 2025
Historical post This post records events as they were reported at the time. Facts are checked against sources; nothing here is a forecast.
Before a story world can be built, people need to meet the storytellers. On October 10, 2025, Wen announced an open audio Space for October 16 at 12 PM Eastern time: a chance for the community to meet the team at Elevate Pictures and get a first look at what comes next for the Wen cat. This post is the announcement, the line-up, the videos the community made around it — and a link to the full story of the partnership.
The Space
- What: "Meet the Team" — an open audio Space on X with the Elevate Pictures team.
- When: Thursday, October 16, 2025, 12 PM Eastern time.
- Why: to connect the community with the studio and give a sneak peek at what is next for Wen.
- Announcement: Wen on X.
Featuring
The announcement listed six people from the team side reported:
- Jake Lieser
- Jeremy Jones
- Jeremy Hughes
- Alex Haldi
- Dave Minogue
- Caitlin Burns
We list the names as published in the announcement; their roles are best checked in the Space recording and the studio's own channels.
How the community reacted
Community members reposted the announcement and made their own graphics and short videos — the usual Wen way of turning an event into something everybody can share. Two examples from the community: post one and post two. The mood was summed up in one playful line: "$Wen will tear the ribbon into shreds."
The original post also repeated a third-party "market cap comparison" promising a huge multiple. We have removed it: it was a price scenario, not knowledge.
Community posters
Two of these posters carry the most useful message of all: search for Wen by its ID, the contract address, not by its name. The box below shows the one address that is WEN.
What came next
The Space opened the road to the bigger plan: a story world of animation, comics and products built with Elevate Pictures. We tell that story — with what is confirmed, planned and unverified — in Wen and Elevate Pictures: From Meme Coin to a Story World, which also includes the full recording of the session.

Check before you trust: the WEN contract
The one and only WEN mint on Solana is WENWENvqqNya429ubCdR81ZmD69brwQaaBYY6p3LCpk. Compare it character by character with the Solana Explorer and the official site wenwencoin.com. A short video shows how: find the ID contract. Names, tickers and logos can be copied; the address cannot.
