WEN Supply Explained: Total, Burned, and How to Check
Reworked market post The original was a market post. We kept short excerpts as a record and replaced the rest with the technology underneath and how it serves people.
In April 2025 the original post announced that WEN's circulation was "already limited to 747 billion" and told readers to draw their own conclusions. The tone was sales talk; the question underneath is a good one. How many tokens of a coin exist, how many are in circulation, how many were destroyed — and how can anyone check that without trusting a website, including this one?
Search only yourself. Only official sites. Confirm the contract.
The original post's own advice, April 2025 — the best line in it
Three supply words
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Total supply | All tokens that exist on-chain right now |
| Circulating supply | The part a tracking site considers freely movable — each site decides this its own way |
| Burned | Tokens destroyed for good; they no longer count in the total |
Only the first is a hard on-chain fact. The second is an estimate made by a third party.
WEN's supply, step by step
- One trillion — Meow's poem split into 1,000,000,000,000 tokens (January 2024).
- About 70% for the community — set aside for the airdrop to more than a million wallets.
- More than 271 billion burned — the unclaimed part, destroyed on January 29, 2024, over 27% of supply (Decrypt).
- Roughly 729 billion left — simple arithmetic: one trillion minus the burn.
Where "747 billion" fits
The figure of 747 billion does not match the arithmetic above figures differ. Tracking sites differ in what they count and how quickly they update, and a number copied from one of them in April 2025 can drift from the chain. That is exactly why the original's last line was right: do not trust a round number — look it up at the source. A fixed supply alone also says nothing about value; read more than a meme for what really matters in a token.
Check it yourself on-chain
- Open the WEN mint on the Solana Explorer.
- Read the supply field — that is the total that exists today.
- Look at the mint authority: if no one holds it, no new tokens can ever be created.
- Compare with any tracker you like — and note the difference.

Check before you trust: the WEN contract
The one and only WEN mint on Solana is WENWENvqqNya429ubCdR81ZmD69brwQaaBYY6p3LCpk. Compare it character by character with the Solana Explorer and the official site wenwencoin.com. A short video shows how: find the ID contract. Names, tickers and logos can be copied; the address cannot.
