Wen History, Fact-Checked: a July 2025 Summary Reviewed
Reworked market post The original was a market post. We kept short excerpts as a record and replaced the rest with the technology underneath and how it serves people.
In July 2025 the original post published a machine-written summary of "Wen's popularity": prices, volumes, ranks, quotes from accounts calling it undervalued. Most of that is noise today. But the summary is useful in a different way — it is a perfect specimen of how automatic write-ups get crypto history wrong. So we kept it as an exhibit and checked it line by line.
The true stability of the protocol does not rely on speculative market manipulation, but on the organic distribution of tokens across over one million wallets.

Five habits for reading any summary
- Check dates against the launch. Anything "before the beginning" is an error.
- Check the chain. A Solana token is identified by one Solana mint:
WENWENvqqNya429ubCdR81ZmD69brwQaaBYY6p3LCpk. - Prefer events to opinions. A burn on a given day is a fact; "undervalued" is a mood.
- Ignore precise-looking numbers without a source. Two decimals do not make a figure true.
- Ask whether it was written by a machine. Automatic summaries mix sources and years with total confidence.

The cat as a symbol
The original ended with a reflection worth keeping: in old cultures, the cat protected the granary and kept order against chaos. What the record says
Strip away the prices and the July 2025 summary agrees with the parts of the record that matter: a poem fractionalized into a token, an airdrop to more than a million wallets, a burn of the unclaimed share, and an open standard. Those are in the launch-day stress test and Token-2022 and WNS; the rest belongs to the market's daily weather.
