The original post shared four "what if" cards from a comparison site: the price WEN would have if it had the market value of WIF, Bonk or Pudgy Penguins. We removed the cards and the link: those calculations look precise but explain nothing. We kept the friendly line the site wrote about Wen — and compared the four tokens the way an almanac should: by their stories, their launches and what they gave to people.

Why "what if" prices mislead
- Market value is not money inside a coin. It is the last price multiplied by all tokens; nobody could sell at that value.
- Supplies differ wildly. Trillions of tokens against billions make "per-token" comparisons meaningless.
- Peaks are moments. An all-time high is a single moment, not a level a coin "deserves" to reach.

What they share
All four live on Solana as tokens of the same token program. All four started from a picture people liked, and all four spread through airdrops or communities rather than private sales. Dogs and cats here are not rivals: Wen and Bonk made a charity plush together, and the cat-season story is told in Cat Season.
Where Wen is different
Wen's distinctive feature is not its image but what came with it: a poem fractionalized into a token, a launch that tested the whole network, and an open NFT standard. The original also called WEN a governance token for a "WEN DAO" — reported, and for its current status the place to check is the official X account. What is certain is the technology — and that it can be used by anyone through Wen Open Lab.
